Anisha Archary is the Human Resources Director of Old Mutual Emerging Markets with responsibility for the people strategy and delivery, across South Africa, Africa, India, China, Colombia and Mexico. A key responsibility is ensuring that Old Mutual develops its leadership capability and effectiveness to operate in an international context and preparing a core segment of employees to be internationally mobile. Core to the development of the employees is the focus on a customer-centric culture.
Her prior experience includes a position as Executive Vice President of Global Passenger Services, Product and Customer Services at SAA where she spent 15 years. Prior to this she held senior leadership roles at Spoornet, Portnet, Indigo Air (New Delhi, India)and Woolworths, a career that has spanned some 25 years in industry.
Archary holds a degree in education and a masters degree in psychology. She has held many board positions, among them the Chair of Cape Town Routes Unlimited, and has served on the boards of Wesgro, Artscape, and the Tourism Grading Council. She was awarded the Transnet Exceptional Leaders Award for business acumen and results in 2002.
