Her extensive knowledge — Brenda achieved cum laude in advanced banking (board governance international executive development programme run through Wits University and London Business School) — goes a long way towards fulfilling her independent assurance role with regard to governance and compliance.
Committed to embedding a culture of good governance and compliance, Brenda has helped implement several tools and methodologies at Nedbank.During 2010, Brenda was responsible for developing and implementing a group-wide enhanced compliance breaches log. She was also central to the implementation of a regulation 49 self-assessment procedure to facilitate and enhance structural monitoring .
