A qualified chartered accountant, Glynis’s career at Nedbank spans more than 15 years. In that time, she has assumed multiple roles, including chief financial officer in corporate banking, plus a range of managerial positions within Nedbank’s financial and operational environments. In 2008, she attended the Gordon Institute of Business Science global executive development programme.
Before becoming chief internal auditor for Nedbank, Glynis led various teams that managed a portfolio of multinationals and private and public-sector entities. Principally, the work involved the cross-selling of a suite of banking solutions. As chief internal auditor for Nedbank, Glynis is responsible for providing independent assurance to the group’s audit committee. Her contribution is distinguished by an inclusive and collaborative work method.Nedbank is focused on unleashing synergies and Glynis’ ability to establish mutually beneficial relationships means that, over the years, she has developed a wide network of contacts within the group.
